Pros

None. Working with weed besides that it’s horrible work

Cons

Everything else. Don’t expect to work here for more than 6 months. Pay is horrible. Go work at McDonald’s and make the same and do less work with a better opportunity to make more money than pure Ohio wellness. Management has no idea how to run a company. Sally from HR is great but that’s about it.

Pros

-Lots of first-timer MMJ card patients frequented the dispensary, which was a great opportunity for budtenders to figure out each individual’s needs -Many different types and brands of products to learn about and help educate patients -Amazing and friendly regulars and staff -Drive through and pre-order options -Great daily sales -Walk-ins welcomed, making it more personable

Cons

-Often short-staffed -Long wait times if a patient is overly chatty -Not being able to keep popular items in stock -Not a lot of opportunities for advancement

Pros

The work itself is very rewarding & i loved learning about how to grow marijuana & care for it in general. They prefer uneducated compliant workers so no experience needed.

Cons

Head grower has no idea what they’re doing. There’s no sense of direction. The quality of plant life is POOR. People are scrutinized when they ask simple questions to management. Whole departments have been placed on “probation” when a raise was expected & earned. Little to no communication to technicians. Managers have no management experience. Constantly short staffed & everyone is over worked. Very stressful & toxic environment. While I was employed I had multiple coworkers that were with child & worked throughout their entire pregnancy, & they were denied maternity leave even though they had been employed for over a year. Mold/fungus growing in all the grow rooms because of inability to control ideal growing conditions for plants. Management knows & doesn't care to fix it/doesn’t know how to. This is just one of the ongoing problems that they are aware of & ignore it. When I tried to raise these concerns to management & communicate with them about a solution I was told I have poor communication skills because they can’t stand hearing that they’re doing anything wrong at all. I learned after that to not ask questions & that if you do, they see it as being against their business. Even though it’s failing.
