-Great start, perfect amount of orientation days, and they will be very helpful. -Felt safe because the teams are solid and the layout of the units make it easier to be safe. -Turn over rate is okay. People come and go, but a lot of people come back. -Nice if you are comfortable with the job. A lot of people stay here a long time. Just not much ability to grow if that is what you're looking for, but this is kind of typical for small psych hospitals from my knowledge. If you're looking for a comfy job as an RN, this might be for you if you like psych and get along with the crews. This does NOT mean the job is super easy all the time because you will have tough days, but that's normal with the patient population. -Scheduler will work with you and they have an open door policy for a lot of management. Overtime is super easy to ask for.

-Lower pay for a lot of the team members here. Could be better for RNs, but not too bad (again, it's comfy). -Cliques everywhere. Makes it hard to ask questions sometimes and when asking questions some people will give you more detailed answers based off how much they like you. People constantly talking behind each other's backs, but then will act very overly nice to them in front of their face. Made an uncomfortable environment, but if you don't care then don't mind this. Moderate problem. Personally, didn't have issues with anyone, but you never know... -Sometimes your schedule will get tossed around (the scheduler will work with you, though). Maybe need more staff? -Not much ability to grow.
