Pros
1) Your curiousity in the marketing field is highly appreciated which can lead to new projects or expansion in your skills. It's great if you're a proactive type of employee that likes to challenge yourself and create value for yourself and the company.
2) Work-life balance is well implemented here. It lives up to the word and everybody no matter their position are getting the space needed with no doubtful questionings. Well respected concept in MGWW.
3) Flat hierarchy within the orginization which leads to a lot of employee feeling comfortable and that their sayings matter in terms of client-work or internal work.
Cons
1) There is a lot of self-learning within MGWW and espeically once you get to an advanced level and are desired (and expected to) to explore new marketing oppurtinities. It's great at some point as you can define it as a challenge, but if it's newer things like AI, Influencer Marketing, DOOH etc, then you're quite stuck with only having the ressources of your own desk-research and self-learning capabilities. Not much of external trainings or similar offered.
2) Lack of broad-skilled specialists within the team (despite our roles are 'Paid marketing'). Typically, the specialist are either capable of Paid Social, PPC or Display. Not all of them, so the title is misleading in terms of what we're actually able to do as one employee for themselves.
3) It can happen that partners of MGWW tends have too much self-involvement in daily client communicating that's related to account managers and specialist areas. This can lead to (not always) misallignment between specialist, account managers, partners and the client itself.
