Pros

Many of the staff and Nurses care about patients.

Cons

Poor uppermanagment Managment, Current CEO (its not Mack Wigley anymore- which is still stated) only cares about profit over patient care and saftey of campus, high staff turnover, short staffed. Enviornment can be toxic.

Pros

Lots of hands on experience in mental health, rewarding job when patients discharge successfully, employee appreciation/ raffles/ benefits, safety is a priority, flexible schedules especially as a college student, lots of hours and holes to pick up, mostly nice/ welcoming staff. Pay differential for overnight and weekends.

Cons

Like every company, it can feel like a high school vibe with drama between staff depending on your unit, pay could be better for what we do, kids keep getting worse and can be a high stress job and it is NOT for everyone! You will see it all working here. 24 hour facility so holidays aren’t guaranteed off, usually you choose between Thanksgiving or Christmas but get paid time and a 1/2 for working holidays.

Pros

Coworkers in the same boat as you. Most are college students and you get to talk mess about the place.

Cons

Pay is extremely low for what you have to deal with.
