-Helpful mentors -Very kind people, feels almost like a family -Learned a lot about PM as well as the construction industry -Upper management will help you achieve career goals within the company or not depending on interests. -Owners treat interns with the same respect that they treat long term employees -Lots of jobsite time - not just working behind a computer

-No formal training program. I hesitate to list this as a 'con' though because most learning is better done real time as unique challenges present themselves. I found that by shadowing experienced PMs I learned so much. It makes more sense to train this way because of the variety of challenges that you may see as a PM - hard to put all the different scenarios/skills into one training program.

Able to do things how you would like but can be criticized by upper leadership.

Upper leadership is disorganized and expects perfection. Communication is poor at best and it seems like no leadership fully knows what is going on.
