Pros
The workload was fair, the students are receptive and trained well. The labs are equipped well and we're given good instruction and materials. The hours are flexible to your class load, and the professors are supportive and knowledgeable and involved.
Cons
I didn't get paid on time for months. I had to involve the union to get paid at all. I worked unpaid after getting a contract. I was, at times, given false information about my job position, and my salary, and my schedule, and my class credits. The administration offices are totally separated from each other when you need to communicate with them, such that any issues fall completely on the individual to know all the ins and outs of the institutional bureaucracy, instead of any help actually being available to you.
Health benefits, pay, and class assignments were reduced over time as I worked there. Very anti-student-worker policies continued to worsen over time.
