Pros

Family run and own which makes it more of a personalised work place, you can interact with the director if you choose to take the opportunities, and lots of internal opportunities too. Not commission based which means you get a consistent income, and the salaries are above what you would make with commission in a competitive and inconsistent market. Good training and support from senior team members. Moving towards hiring experienced workforce instead of young employees who think they are owed more more more. You get out what you put in. Nice social club activities like quarterly celebrations and events. Recognition of service and open EOI for promotions if you are deserving, at any time. There were periods where it felt like secrets were apart of the normal but this has changed significantly in the last few months which is great to see.

Cons

Still have some of the young workforce here who need a good dose of reality - the grass is not always greener. Need more development of the senior leadership team as a few have left in my time here. Sometimes because it is a smaller company there is a bit of gossip but this can also keep things entertaining.

Pros

•There's a real focus on doing the right thing for nurses/midwives and hospitals which is great to see from an agency •Pay is competitive, you know what your getting each fortnight, no need to track your expected commission •There are often lunches/coffee/morning tea provided which is nice •Events outside of work are paid for and frequent •If you want there’s a lot of opportunity to get involved in more than just your role •You learn a lot because there’s a lot going on and everything is constantly changing

Cons

•Everything is constantly changing •A lot of females across teams, so there can be a bit of gossip and assumptions on things, they don't really ask anything directly, they just gossip about it •Sometimes things feel a bit manual or clunky

Pros

WFH 2x a week. Altered start and finish times within reason. Nice kitchen. No uniform.

Cons

This place will suck the soul out of you. Management comes from an episode of Mean Girls. They are so blatantly rude and look down upon you unless you kiss their... Average pay. In fact, they constantly lowball people even if you're doing the same job. One will be paid 85k because they pushed for it in the hiring process while the other is stuck on 70k. Minimal pay rises (~1% per year if you're lucky). Turnover is crazy here. If you look like you're enjoying yourself at work you will be punished.
