Pros

Kids are amazing. The lead program seems decent although many of their current leads/BATs are unable to pass the exam.

Cons

The bonus structure was changed in a way that resulted in BCBAs working more hours while ultimately earning less compensation overall. Yearly merit increases are also extremely discouraging because they are based almost entirely on whether staff hit their metrics from the previous year. This creates a situation where even using a significant amount of PTO during one month can negatively affect performance metrics and reduce bonuses or raises the following year. The center on Morris Avenue in Salt Lake City has also experienced significant turnover among strong RBTs recently. A major reason appears to be the company lowering salary caps for staff members, reportedly tied to financial strain caused by opening too many centers without sustainable planning. Morale among staff has noticeably declined as a result. There are also serious ethical concerns within the center, including allegations of insurance fraud involving BAs currently working there. One BA reportedly brought concerns to the center director and was disciplined instead of the concerns being properly investigated, which has created an environment where staff feel uncomfortable speaking up. Overall, the workplace culture, financial instability, declining compensation structure, and handling of serious concerns have made many employees lose confidence in the company’s direction. It increasingly feels like the organization is struggling to stay afloat.
