Pros
This is not your typical 9-to-5 where you can coast. The expectations are much more exacting than most companies, which makes for an incredibly invigorating atmosphere. I love collaborating with such a strong, intelligent team. Management genuinely pushes you to improve constantly, and there is a lot of freedom to define your own trajectory. It’s a challenging environment, but the support from coworkers makes the "crunch" feel like a team sport.
Cons
Pay and benefits are definitely on the lower end. It’s hard to justify the "below average" salary long-term when the work itself is so demanding and high-level. Definitely a place you join for the growth and the people rather than the paycheck.
