Pros
I worked with a diverse group of staff from different backgrounds, which I appreciated. The most rewarding part of the job was building relationships with clients and seeing their progress over time. The small clinic setting also made it easier to get to know coworkers and form connections.
Cons
In my experience, the hiring process felt unstructured and not strongly focused on experience. After starting, I received limited training and guidance from supervisors, which made it difficult to feel prepared in my role. There was also high staff turnover, which often led to the clinic being understaffed. Expectations and communication from management were not always consistent, and follow-through on support or changes that were discussed was not always clear.
