Pros

- Lesser pressure compared to other companies - 20 total leave credits - Profit Sharing

Cons

- Salary does not increase for up-skilled employees, you're doing more for the same salary as an L1 agent. - Unclear grounds for task assignment or lateral transfers (e.g. Low-typing speed employees get assigned to typing intensive tasks, whilst those scoring high in typing tests during training does not get a nod, it's almost like the assignments are random and not basing on capabilities.) - Clinic is almost non-existent - Onsite facilities are unusable, you'd expect a company of more than 1000 employees to have at least adequate sleeping quarters, but it only accommodates a maximum of 6 people - minimal career opportunities

Pros

Cognizant can be a great place to work at. You have to be self-motivated and driven. You won't often be given a script on how to do your job well. But if you are willing to search for new opportunities, you will find success.

Cons

Just like many other tech companies, layoffs are happening all the time. This often brings many projects to a complete halt. Management never communicates when someone is laid off. And when they are laid off, they often never back fill positions, leaving existing team members working the equivalent of three jobs at once. Most teams there are skeleton crews, ensuring that they cannot reach their full potential.
