Pros

Friendly HR and colleagues while the head of preschool was not around.

Cons

It was an extremely toxic environment with a bullying head of preschool who used their power to push down the staff. Everyone was tiptoeing around and afraid to do anything to displease the boss.

Pros

Students are kind Free lunch (normal for schools)

Cons

Poor management Little to no resources miserable staff Money is lower in comparison to other British schools in the area High turnover Will try not to pay teachers at end of contract If you don’t work at the summer school salaries are deducted (competitor schools pay you extra to work) Doesn’t take bullying seriously

Pros

Healthy food for the teachers as well

Cons

1. Horrible Management, only cares about the appearance of the school and pleasing parents instead of their staff 2. There are so many instances where you as a teacher do extra work (that the school gets extra money for) but you are not being paid for it 3. The behaviour of the students is insanely disrespectful and there are no consequences. 4. The students grades/performance is horrible because there is no academic rigor. They care more about making the parents happy instead of disciplining the kids. You as a teacher have to account for so many shortcomings that it’s impossible to have the lesson they should have in a certain year. 5. We are overworked coming home late and then having to do more work 6. Underpaid 7. Toxic work culture and management does not care
