The staff (and I do mean STAFF, not managers or VPs) were occasionally good and fun to work with.

Oh God. Where to begin. They got an employee stranded in a prison in Africa ffs....all over saving a few dollars. There's virtually no employee retention. All this family values and cool work place stuff is just another con job to get you to work there. They will make you work hours beyond what you should, and then expect you to do more, because you know, obviously in Canada we can abuse the workforce like some third world country and get away with it. How many countless talented employees have you lost over the years and NOT LEARNED YOUR LESSON?
