There is honestly not a single positive to working for this company it's just sooooo bad! If I could have given it 0 stars I would but there isn't an option for how bad this job is. Its a great job if your a glutton for punishment.
Cons
Where to start. The whole experience is just dreadful. You will literally spend all your time writing boring rental contracts and taking payments, checking damage on cars and being forced to unethically charge customers for the most minor scratches on cars, so your pretty much always dealing with some level of conflict. When your not doing this your picking up and dropping off cars, constant little 15 mins trips. Probably spend 8hrs driving to peoples houses to collect and drop off vehicles or customers, while doing this you'll have management calling you constantly for updates encouraging you to go as fast as possible, if you get held up in city traffic then you'll probably be yelled at on arrival back to branch. For some reason you have to dress in a suit like you work on Wall Street but your expected to wash cars in the rain and get covered in crap, just totally dumb. Your judged on your ability to sell unethical and extortionate insurance cover to customers that are mostly always covered by their own insurance company and given the most unrealistic targets. Most people who have any sense leave shortly after joining, the only ones that stay and become managers are unintelligent egotistical bully's that are so delusional and quite frankly just odd. You're expected to talk in a certain way, be over the top friendly with customers in branch and over the phone. Every customer can see straight through it. It's like your being told how to behave by the most awkward, unnatural and unsociable people, just honestly so odd thinking back. You are forced to work the most redicoulos hours, start at 6am if busy and that's literally every day... you won't be home till gone 8pm most evenings. God forbid you arrive 1min past 6am the next day. Occasionally you'll be asked to stay later, sometimes till 10pm to listen to an area manager ( has no real business acumen or official management training or qualifications to be in the position ) talk absolute trash about how the last few months have gone, but its okay because you'll get a dominos for dinner. You'll be constantly ridiculed by staff and put down by branch managers. I still have no idea how this is a graduate program lmao how does it require a degree to deliver a car sign a contract. It's backward a total grad trap and a wast of time. Don't do it, they need to be boycotted. Id rather be put in solitary confinement than waste another day of my life working for these people. The pay is also dreadful, you could quite easily earn more in retail or stacking shelves at a supermarket, that would also be more fulfilling.
