Pros

Flexible work locations, nice coworkers, nice office space.

Cons

Where to start… 1. This company is run by leaders who have no idea what they are doing. One of the owners is very confrontational, rude, and is always making unrealistic demands, while the other is calm and collected but doesn’t know how to run a business. Both owners don’t understand that somethings they ask for take time but insist they want things done immediately. One of the owners is constantly gone and impossible to get a hold of. 2. The pay is horrible and less than other similar companies, especially for the crazy workload that is given. Constant overflow of random tasks assigned daily, which makes it nearly impossible to do your regular job. It seems this comes from the owners who demand you do something that comes to their mind in the moment, then the next day change their minds and make you change everything you’ve already done. 3. Educational and learning opportunities do not exist at this company. Administrational supervisors don’t have any knowledge to provide to their subordinates and just make them figure stuff out on their own. It seems like nobody knows what they are doing and it’s a constant, never ending battle of keeping your head above water. 4. Benefits are laughably bad. Low pto accrual, health insurance premiums are unaffordable, 401k match is low. 5. There were several surprised random layoffs that occurred recently. Now I heard they aren’t giving any raises in 2026. Not sure the outlook looks good.

Pros

Working with great therapists and supporting staff

Cons

During my time working at this organization, I was deeply disappointed by the stark contrast between its stated values and its actual treatment of employees. While the organization prides itself on empowerment, transparency, and communication, those principles were largely absent in practice. One of the most glaring issues was the lack of support for employees’ physical and mental well-being. Despite being a mental health clinic, leadership made no efforts to ensure a healthy work environment for their staff. Instead of addressing the high turnover rate. the leadership team chose to strong-arm remaining staff rather than address the root causes of dissatisfaction. Employees were often met with threats of unemployment instead of constructive feedback or solutions. Additionally, there was a significant lack of structure and documented policies, creating confusion and inconsistency in daily operations. Supporting staff, in particular, were often disregarded and excluded from resources. Compensation practices also reflected this disregard for existing employees. New hires were frequently brought in at higher wages than current staff, despite having the same or even less experience. leadership continually prioritized new hires without addressing pay disparities or retention efforts. Additionally, instead of fostering professional growth, employees were told their roles were “no longer necessary” unless they could prove themselves—creating a culture of fear and instability. Ultimately, this organization has a long way to go in aligning its internal operations with the values it publicly promotes. While the mission may be admirable, its execution fails to support the very people working to uphold it. I hope leadership takes a hard look at these concerns and prioritizes meaningful change for the well-being of their employees.
