Pros

Working at TWFG Tamra Galvan Insurance is like being part of a close-knit team where your personal life is respected just as much as your professional growth. Tamra is a supportive and hands-on leader who genuinely cares about her employees and their families. Whether it's attending a child's school event or needing time to reset, there's an understanding and flexibility you don't often find in other workplaces. The office culture is collaborative—we work hard, but we lift each other up, and there's a real sense of mutual respect.

Cons

Like any small business, the workload can be demanding at times, especially during peak periods. But the upside is that no one is left to struggle alone—Tamra often steps in herself to help handle the pressure, even if that means working late nights or weekends to make sure things run smoothly.

Pros

Fantastic company to work for. Lots of great people all around.

Cons

IT Department is under a lot of changes. Many of these changes are positives and things that were already being worked towards, but now are being presented as if they are new ideas by new leadership. New projects are getting kicked off without any kind of planning or coordination of efforts. Tech stack is becoming a nightmare. Long-time employees are told to start using tools that contractors are comfortable with instead of the other way around. Standards aren't being followed and when pointed out, nothing changes. Entire infrastructure and code base has become one big mess with no standards. Lots of chatter in the department, morale is low and people may start leaving.
