Pros

Biggest “pro” is we have a great group of people; many have been with the company for a long time and add stability. It’s rare to find such loyalty in bigger companies. The people I work with closely are smart, engaged and working hard to grow the company. The work is interesting and challenging. We are at a point of growth, and there are plenty of new projects that allow us to learn new skills every day. The pay is competitive. I think it’s fair for the industry. There are definitely opportunities to increase responsibility and salary.

Cons

Because of the growth and new executives, many things are changing almost weekly, and that’s generally a good and necessary thing – but it keeps us on our toes and forces us to be adaptable. That’s not everyone’s strength.

Pros

Team members and direct managers were great people to work with. Pay decent but definitely below market rate. Benefits ok but bonuses and annual raises are minimal.

Cons

No strategy or direction from upper management whatsoever. I don't know if this was a systemic problem that lead to the FDA recalls or this is the company scrambled to save itself post-recalls, or both. Strategy changes every day, resulting in huge inefficiencies, wasted time, finger pointing, and frustrating. Interdepartmental communication of responsibilities is abysmal - no one ever knows who is supposed to do what and no one will take ownership. New leadership since the buyout just cleaning house completely illogically. The way the most recent layoffs were conducted were downright cruel.
