Pros
There are three reasons to pick a company: market, product, and team. Crogl has all three.
Market: The cybersecurity landscape is fundamentally changing. The pace and volume of threats we're seeing today requires new approaches—agentic attacks demand agentic defense. This isn't incremental improvement; it's a necessary evolution in how security operations work, and Crogl is at the forefront of that shift.
Product: The autonomous knowledge engine is genuinely differentiated. What sets it apart is that it's customer-managed, which means data sovereignty, privacy, and security remain in the customer's control. In an era where trust is everything, this approach matters deeply and resonates with enterprise buyers.
Team: This is a team of missionaries, not mercenaries. Everyone here deeply understands the problem we're solving and is genuinely aligned on the mission. The culture has a real bias toward action, which is rare and incredibly energizing. What's even more impressive is that we've built this culture as a fully remote company—something that's notoriously difficult to do well, but the team has nailed it.
As the first product hire, I've had tremendous autonomy while also benefiting from strong support and alignment across the organization. Everyone here wants everyone else to succeed, and you feel that in every interaction.
Cons
The market is moving faster than we've ever seen before, which means the pace can be intense. There are competitors in the space with significantly more resources, so we have to be smart, scrappy, and focused. Also, we're fully remote—if you prefer working in person every day, this isn't for you (although we do travel and get together for events and off-sites).
