Pros

Having a job, skill set building

Cons

MGMT is full of Retaliation, favoritism, sarcasm, and passive aggressive. There’s a “we’re a family” mentality but never practiced. It’s used as a way of exploitation. Everyone is overworked, has different qualifications, but somehow gets paid the same. Wearing multiple hats is a must, and again you do not get compensated for your efforts. There’s no raise based on merit, it’s a dead end job. Do not work here, it’s not worth your mental health.

Pros

Working at the airport is cool, and you pick up great skills.

Cons

At my location there are issues with scheduling, management, and employee retainment. There is no performance bonuses, the only incentives for better pay is to do more overtime but for a physical job like this that leads to high turnover and burnout. The only career movement provided here is the ability to put prior experience on your resume when applying for better companies in the industry. Moving up in this company means 10x responsibilities with hardly 1.5x the pay.
