The Leadership Team at MAHC are very interested in providing a healthy workplace for everyone. There are recognition programs like Long Service Awards and You MAHC a Difference. Every year, the organization hosts a Staff Appreciation Week where teams enjoy a gift like a sweatshirt or something like that and we get treat carts that come around and there are games with prizes to be won. I've been offered extra training and professional development opportunities, and the IDEA committee is working hard to create an inclusive environment for everyone. The best part of the job is the teams and the people you work with. Everyone is in healthcare because they care and there is definitely team spirit. It's not perfect, no organization is, but every year that I work there, the culture gets better.
