Pros

Truly hard to find any

Cons

-Must pay for your own training - they ask a lot from employees but provide minimal support - Don't uphold their promises even if it is in the contract, written in an email, verbal but expect you to - corporate doesn't really care about clinic and its staff -focus on their own profits, resources in the clinics get shortchanged constantly. -will close clinics down with night before or morning of and will not pay you for that day - no lunch break, eat whenever you can (sometimes this is impossible) - patient satisfaction is more important than evidence based practice - the staff that is scheduled with you is frequently delinquent in basic skills/willingness to work. This means you do not have a team to support you.

Pros

-The clinic staff -schedule rotates 3 days one week, 4 days the next with paid overtime (12 hour shifts) -autonomy

Cons

-Must pay for your own training - they don't negotiate contracts, they just set you with a number and don't budge on anything - Don't uphold their promises even if it is in the contract, written in an email, verbal but expect you to - corporate doesn't really care about clinic and its staff -focus on their own profits -will close clinics down with night before or morning of and will not pay you for that day (this can mess with your overtime pay and salary) or if clinic staff calls out the company expects you to help our as the front desk and also be the MA - no lunch break, eat whenever you can (sometimes this is impossible) - patient satisfaction is more important than evidence based practice
