Pros

Working at the Solar Cancellation Resource Center (SCRC) in Scottsdale is incredibly rewarding. Management is fantastic, they truly value their employees and make sure to listen to our needs while curating a collaborative environment where you can easily bounce ideas off your co-workers. The mission here is real; we aren't just pushing paper. We are providing a legitimate "exit door" for families who thought they were stuck for 25 years in predatory agreements. The compensation is highly competitive (especially for intake and sales roles), the office energy is high, and the training provided is top-tier.

Cons

The hardest part of the job is hearing the heartbreaking stories from homeowners who have been taken advantage of, especially seniors or people on fixed budgets. It can be emotionally heavy at times, but knowing that our partnership with Consumer Advocacy Law Group can actually provide a resolution makes it worth it. It’s a fast-paced environment, so you have to be ready to hit the ground running.

Pros

Working as an Exit Specialist at SCRC is the most rewarding job I’ve had in this industry. Every day I talk to people who feel trapped by predatory contracts and UCC-1 liens, and I get to be the person who starts the process of getting their home equity back. The "Forensic Production Audit" we use is a game-changer, it’s not just talk; we use actual utility data to prove where the solar company lied. Management really cares about the mission, and it feels like we are part of a movement to clean up the industry.

Cons

It can be emotionally heavy sometimes. You hear a lot of stories about families in bankruptcy or seniors being taken advantage of, so you have to have a thick skin and stay focused on the solution.
