My time in Angleton ISD was rewarding and enriching. Recommended.

I experienced unkind (and TBH...inexperienced) campus administrators. Don't treat teachers as just subordinates to be directed and managed; treat them as valued collaborators. Never talk to them like you would talk to a child.

2 Bonuses Available: (1) Substitutes that work a combination of 15 days during the school year 5 days at each level: elementary, junior high, and high school/ALT. campus) = $150 bonus. (2) Substitutes that work a total of 30 days in the district during the school year = $1oo bonus.

Overall, substitute pay is low when considering the amount of work and responsibility required.
