      Pros

      There is chance for engaging stakeholders from different entities, to be able to see research projects from different angles.

      Cons

      Boss micromanage on everything, and is very emotional. Verbal abuse at personal level happens often. Unrealistic demands are raised and when they are not met, boss start making personal attacks. No strategy on how to do things by management and boss looks to his team for answers.

      Pros

      Good chance to learn about the maritime industry and research from a funding agency perspective.

      Cons

      The management was good until they had a change of boss for the current term. Poor strategies from current management, a lot of politics and backstabbing despite it being a small organisation. The current management likes to throw ground level staff under bus as scapegoats for their mistakes.
