Pros

Work life balance for some teams

Cons

This review is specifically for the Delhi/Narayana campus. One of the most employee-unfriendly companies I have experienced. 1. No proper cafeteria or food support Earlier there was a canteen, but the food quality was extremely poor, options were very limited, and the taste was below average. Eventually, even that became useless. Currently, there is effectively no proper food facility for employees. 2. No work-from-home flexibility The company enforces strict 5-day work-from-office attendance with zero flexibility. The environment feels more like a school than a modern company. 3. Excessive check-in/check-out culture Employees are forced to punch in and punch out daily for mandatory 8.5 hours. Even if you work extra hours, it is not appreciated or counted properly, but management is extremely focused on tracking login/logout timing. The culture reflects mistrust rather than professionalism. 4. No concern for employee convenience Many employees come from other states and live alone. Still, the company provides no proper lunch arrangement, subsidized food, or decent vendor support. Employees are indirectly forced to spend ₹300–₹400 daily on food delivery apps. 5. Extreme micromanagement Management closely monitors small and unnecessary things — where you sit, how long you sit there, when you punched in, when you punched out, etc. Even trying to sit in a quieter place for better focus becomes a question from managers. 6. Poor HR and management culture The HR department appears disconnected from real employee concerns. Instead of solving problems or improving culture, the focus is mainly on rigid policies and control. 7. Lack of growth mindset in leadership The upper management feels outdated and resistant to change. There is very little innovation in work culture, employee well-being, or flexibility. The overall environment feels old-school, highly controlling, and not aligned with modern workplace standards. 8. Questionable online ratings credibility The Glassdoor ratings appear heavily managed or artificially boosted. It is noticeable that multiple highly positive reviews are posted around the same time, which creates doubt about the authenticity of the ratings. The online image of the company does not match the actual employee experience. 9. Poor office surroundings and overall environment The Narayana office location is surrounded mainly by iron, metal, and industrial market areas (Loha Mandi type environment). The entire surroundings feel dull, crowded, and outdated. You do not get the energetic or modern corporate vibe that most professionals expect from a company location. 10. Difficult living conditions for outsiders For employees relocating from other states, finding good rooms or decent accommodation nearby is difficult. The area lacks a comfortable professional living environment, making daily life more stressful for employees who are new to Delhi. Overall, the company culture is heavily control-driven rather than trust-driven. Employees are treated more like school students than working professionals.
