Good colleagues within the office

No benefits. Office culture 5 days per week, but not enforced for senior staff. Lack of work overall.

Nice offices, staff tend to be friendly. First year of so of acquisition you are left to your own devices (this quickly changes)

They say no targets but this is not true - management hold financial information and it is heavily relied on. No formal appraisal and promotion structure - it is very adhoc and seems to be dependant on whether your face fits. No autonomy at all over fees. All commercial decisions seem to be made by the CSDs and CEO with lack of input from the fee earners on the ground. The pay is not competitive and there are no bonuses for fee earners. Operational staff do however get bonuses. Expected in the office 5 days a week. Also expected to work long hours to complete work with no financial recompense.
