Pros

Nice location, hybrid work environment

Cons

Similar to another post. Toxic high-turnover environment driven by favoritism, poor leadership, and lack of accountability. Performance and competence are often overlooked in favor of loyalty to the wrong people. There is little consistency in how employees are treated—some are protected regardless of mistakes, while others are held to completely different standards. Speaking up about issues or unethical behavior is discouraged and can negatively impact how you’re perceived. Workloads are uneven, with certain employees expected to take on significantly more while others contribute very little. As a result, morale is low and strong performers are often overlooked or leave. Also, the President likes to micromanage and is too controlling. He loves to denigrate employees in front of staff and peers.

Pros

Desperate to hire any warm body on the retail side Decent benefits Some seasoned workers there who continue to stick it out. Hired a COO that’s actually qualified for the role.

Cons

Zero employee loyalty by senior management Rampant nepotism by senior executives Spineless middle management afraid to tell the CEO what’s truly going wrong CEO meddles in day to day operations and when his decisions prove to be disastrous there is always an employee that becomes the sacrificial lamb. Reactive based customer focus always to little to late with promotions and sales initiatives. Most of the seasoned employees with strong customer focus have gotten fed up and left or gotten eliminated. Super cheap, horrible baking systems and total implosion of cash management department. Nj and PA run like two separate companies, NJ sales Team live off the wide birth of the Ryan family, with little pressure to actually generate their own deals. PA sales Managers source almost all of their own business and see little to no support from the President/ CFO. Two completely different run sales regions.
