Pros
Coworkers are hardworking and supportive
Cons
The positive reviews on this profile do not accurately reflect the reality of working here. It was widely perceived internally that management frequently attempted to offset negative feedback instead of addressing the underlying issues within the company culture. This is a family-run business that has reached a point where the operational needs of the company seem to exceed the professional capabilities of current leadership. There is no clear long-term vision, and management often operates reactively rather than strategically. The level of micromanagement is extreme, unlike anything I have experienced elsewhere, although it is often presented as “support” or “collaboration.” Employees are expected to report every minor task and update constantly, which creates unnecessary pressure and wastes a significant amount of productive time. The company structure is also very informal. Employees are often hired for one specific role, sometimes without a clearly defined contract, but over time responsibilities shift significantly into areas completely unrelated to the original position or the employee’s actual strengths. This is usually justified under the idea that employees should “self-learn” or “self-train.” There is very little structured training or support. Management often expects employees to solve complex situations independently without providing the proper tools, guidance, or preparation. Once an employee manages to find a working solution, it immediately becomes the new expectation going forward, creating unrealistic workloads and forcing employees to continuously work beyond the scope of their role just to keep up. Another major issue is the lack of delegation and trust from ownership. Employees are often viewed with distrust rather than as professionals capable of contributing independently. Almost every decision, approval, or operational step requires management involvement, which creates constant bottlenecks and delays across the organization. This significantly slows productivity and creates frustration at every level of the business. Communication from management is also frequently passive-aggressive and, at times, openly disrespectful toward employees. This creates an uncomfortable work environment where people often feel undervalued rather than supported. Initiative is supposedly encouraged, but in practice, ideas are only accepted if they align exactly with what management already wants. This creates frustration, discourages independent thinking, and leads to constant friction within teams. The management style is highly confrontational and centered around blame. When mistakes happen, the focus is often on identifying and publicly pointing out the person responsible instead of analyzing the root cause, improving processes, and moving forward constructively to prevent future issues. There is also very high employee turnover. Many talented people have passed through the company and made positive contributions, but employees generally do not feel heard or valued. Compensation is presented as competitive, but in reality salary growth is limited and does not consistently reflect employee contributions or increasing responsibilities. Overall, the work environment becomes mentally exhausting over time due to the constant pressure, lack of trust, excessive control, unclear expectations, and the absence of modern leadership practices needed to support a growing company.
