I really wouldn’t say I have anything positive to say

Management changes created an extremely stressful and unhealthy work environment. Over time the company completely changed job expectations removed flexibility and took away work-from-home opportunities that employees were originally promised when hired. This made it very difficult to maintain any type of healthy work-life balance especially in an already emotionally draining social services role. There was very little transparency regarding major workplace changes and employees were often left feeling unsupported unheard and distrusted by management. Toward the end micromanagement became a major issue and it felt like leadership was more focused on monitoring employees than actually supporting staff or addressing ongoing concerns within the workplace. Communication from management was often inconsistent and morale across departments continued to decline. The turnover became extremely high with many experienced employees leaving across several departments including care coordination youth services children’s services and the clinical team. By the time I left there were no care coordinators remaining. Multiple long-term employees also resigned due to burnout lack of support and frustration with management. Overall the environment became increasingly negative disorganized and difficult to work in due to constant changes lack of stability and poor leadership.

Pros

Great organization doing fantastic work for survivors. Amazing benefits, PTO, mental health days, flexing, etc. There is potential to move around within the organization and grow. My manager is very understanding and supportive. My team works well together and collaborative as well.

Cons

Desk space is hard to come by and no private offices due to space restrictions

Pros

Mission work has good intentions. From what I heard, they had a few good years in them but this is no longer the case.

Cons

Petty drama keeps many people quitting left and right. Once they know you're overworked, instead of addressing it, they push you out. Turnover is high and doesn't seem to be a red flag to anyone on the Board. All upper management is unqualified for their positions. CEO needs to be replaced immediately.
