Pros
Compensation is market-rate at hire, but raises quietly decreased over time, don't expect them to keep pace with inflation. The hours are a standard 40-hour week with no expectation to grind beyond that. Colleagues tend to be straightforward and honest, so there's no real political posturing at the peer level - genuinely one of the highlights of the workday.
Cons
The in-office policy has been walked back multiple times since I joined, with more changes already announced (4-days in-office soon). It feels like a gradual erosion of a benefit that was part of the original offer. The company has also gone through multiple rounds of layoffs, leadership & organizational changes, and there's no clear sign that things will stabilize anytime soon. Your experience may differ significantly by region, but I found my team to be supportive, helpful, and often the highlight of my workday. There's little investment in employee development, and career advancement is largely reserved for long-tenured employees. Annual reviews are structured in a way where exceeding expectations is essentially unattainable regardless of actual performance or contributions. If you're earlier in your career and looking to grow, you'll likely hit a ceiling quickly.
