Pros
Comfortable work environment, relaxed atmosphere. Director/superior is down to earth and easy to get along with. Clean and new equipment, mechanics are always fixing any issues you have immediately, dispatcher is wonderful.
Cons
Union contract isn’t fair for anyone hired after 2016. $10+ less an hour for new hires compared to anyone working prior to 2016, no family benefits for new hires. Currently working without a contract going into the 2019-2020 school year. Surrounding districts with competitive pay and great family benefits are hiring. Randolph used to be the holy grail of employment, now they will hire anyone with a pulse because pay and benefits are poor.
