Pros
I don't mind the pay, and the health insurance is really cheap
Cons
They do not care about employee satisfaction. My boss also outright told me that promotions are based on a popularity contest and not on merit, which is disgusting. It's very obvious though, considering my supervisor is AWFUL at supervising but all anyone can say about her is "she's so nice!". They also don't give any opportunities for the employees to express concerns or discontent in the workplace, which shows they don't care to improve as a work environment. Minneapolis likes to say they're such a liberal city but the actual work environment is like 10 years behind other offices I've worked in. And you get such a pathetic amount of PTO too. Employees are either swamped with work or have literally nothing to go and the supervisors refuse to take accountability and instead blame the employee. I've never woken up in the morning dreading going in to work the way I have here.
