Pros

- colleagues - employee benefits - location - "growing" institute

Cons

toxic environment and culture from top down. the senior managers will follow the treatment received from the top and replicate to the employees. there's no proper structure or direction with frequent changes at the 11th hour. from the first day joined, i was told there's no such thing as training and you're expected to scramble in the dark with ridiculous expectations and targets give.

THIS IS A WARNING I would strongly advise candidates to think carefully before joining this company especially under the International Partnership division for any kind of Business Development role handling overseas markets in this company. Most contracts are only renewed yearly, and during every renewal cycle, employees are pressured heavily on revenue generation. The expectation placed on staff is extremely unrealistic — in some cases, being expected to generate revenue worth multiple times more than your annual salary just to justify your continuation. They will hold your neck for life! The environment becomes highly numbers-driven to the point where employees feel undervalued and disposable rather than supported or developed. Instead of focusing on sustainable growth, the pressure revolves around constant revenue pushing under fear of contract renewal uncertainty. What disappointed me the most was seeing an international colleague, whose partner is expecting a baby in a few months, not having their contract renewed — while at the same time, the company had already started advertising the same role on LinkedIn. There is a serious issue with employee welfare, stability, and leadership expectations within this company. If you are looking for long-term career growth, psychological safety, and a supportive environment, I would recommend evaluating carefully before accepting an offer here, I would advise to not accept. Go to other companies. There’s a lot more companies that will value you as a human being. I REPEAT THIS IS A WARNING FOR YOU NEW JOINERS

Pros

Some colleagues are genuinely kind and willing to help Complimentary snacks and drinks that is repetitive

Cons

If your boss likes you, you can stay longer. But if they don’t, suddenly it’s immediate notice or even subtle ways to push you to resign. That’s another level of toxic. Some people will make you feel small just because they think they have a better skill set. But being more skilled doesn’t make you a better person. Arrogance and being full of yourself is never a good look. When karma comes around, don’t forget how you treated others. They say there is WFH, but it doesn’t even work on a weekly basis — so why label it as WFH? Senior management can be so full of themselves, and it’s even worse in a female-dominated environment where some cannot accept change, new direction, or opportunities brought by new management. The culture becomes toxic when the same groups constantly gossip as if they are better than others. Please — we are all human at the end of the day.
