Very little/limited upward mobility. Professional development opportunities weren't great.

Flexible working hours and WFH

Where to begin? Almost everyone believes the university is being seriously mismanaged. Everyone I know is actively looking for work elsewhere. There are constant resignations, the staff turnover is through the roof. The office politics is unbelievable. Many staff self-censor, because expressing non-Catholic views is frowned upon. Student complaints are swept under the rug or downplayed. Staff are completely drowning in unnecessary paperwork, and if you don’t manage to stay on top of it (by working unpaid overtime, which many staff are forced to do) you instantly become the villain.
