Race Technologies is an amazing place to work, especially if you love cars or motorcycles. Its a relatively small team overall but the impact on the market is very large. Smaller teams are great for team chemistry and communication, if you're an independent worker they can also accommodate you. Thats a huge pro, management is very accommodating (within reason) especially when it comes to your strengths and weaknesses. They provide a lot of training and theyll find a good place to showcase your strengths. Management is great at staying connected with their staff without having to micro manage. Another pro about management is they work incredibly hard, its not only motivating but it really tells you how much this compant means to them as well. Office is very nice and modern, feels like youre at a large scale enterprise but with a mom & pop vibe.

Most of my complaints reflect having to suddenly work from home during the pandemic. This created issues with training and communication but i would imagine every company suffered this to an extent. I was only a few months in when it happened so i had to do a lot of remote training. Being a smaller company they do not have an in-house IT team, its outsourced, this can sometimes create extended delays or frustration having to rely on a third party when your system is down. Data infrastructure could use an overhaul in my opinion, long time veteran employees have the experience to locate necessary data, but its not very straightforward if you havent been with the company for a while. The company is expanding and i think these are just some of the challenges that come with that. Overall i wouldnt want to work anywhere else!
