Pros
The people at TS Trim are great. Generally speaking, associates here are hard-working, funny, easy-going, and fun to talk to. Upper management is great. The upper management here are always out on the production floor and approachable by anybody with any problem that they are having. The plant manager (the captain of the ship in a sense) is extremely down-to-earth, personable, and collected. He, along with other members of the management team, worked his way up from a general production associate. There are opportunities to be promoted within and work your way up into management- although job openings are not exclusively internal, it seems TS Trim prefers this. Many people have worked here for 30+ years and that says a lot about a company.
Cons
Production and areas that directly support production can have mandatory overtime with sometimes a short notice of only a couple of days or so. Production management works long hours. It is unfortunately the nature of the beast having to support our customers. The overall pay for skilled labor such as engineers/maintenance is lower than others.
