In this industry as a house manager there’s not a lot of room to grow

The pay is decent. Work-life balance is not awful, sometimes.

The firm exists to drain clients dry and push the blame onto whoever is lowest on the totem pole. The structure is also extremely corporate and does not feel like a law firm. When clients need actual legal help, they often do not get to speak to a lawyer directly and instead have to jump through multiple hoops before reaching one. The firm also seems to have a hard time retaining employees, which says a lot.
