Good job for students, but poor team communication - Customer Service Bitcoin Depot Employee Review

Remote, great culture, awesome people

Limited structure doesn’t allow growth. Not enough PTO.

- remote-first work environment - monitor and laptop provided - small company structure - stock options

- department heads (most) seem to be on constant power trips - laptop and monitor need to be returned after leaving the company - terrible healthcare plan - review scale is ratings 1-5, with 5 only being achievable if you're literally perfect (said to me by a c-suite exec) - so if you're good at your job you'll get a 3 ninety-nine percent of the time - understaffed and not compensated for the additional work while waiting for department positions to be filled...or even appreciated for the work - no transparency within the company - overworked and under appreciated - very high turnover rate - not much room for advancement because the high turnover rate means they'll hire externally long before you have enough experience to be promoted then the time between you inevitably leaving and the manager inevitably leaving will be staggered just enough to continue this cycle - the constant bad publicity and changing laws makes the future of the company concerning - zero job security within the company
