Pros
I sadly don't have any pros I can think of
Cons
I think I have PTSD from working here. The stress is unbearable. Most of the HOAs we manage did not hire us but instead we acquired them by buying out other management companies. These condo owners are very unhappy when the transition happens because they did not choose us and we do a worse job than the last company. When they get mad at us, we are encouraged by supervisors to ignore the complaints instead of dealing with them. Then the HOA board ends up voting to replace us with a new company when the contract expires. At that point, Westward leadership gets very angry that we lost the client, even though the supervisors told us to ignore the problem. There is one person, in particular, with a serious temper problem who everyone tiptoes around. He screamed at my friend and made her cry in a meeting, yelling about how they took a loan to acquire this community and now we lost it, how can she let that happen, everyone will lose their jobs and it will be her fault. He gets red in the face as he screams at her in this meeting. I decided at that point to leave. I've worked 6 places in my career and this is the worst bar none. They even tried to get me to sign a non-disclosure agreement when I left because they knew what I saw was really bad. I refused. I have to be able to warn people so no one else goes through this. I'm literally shaking as I write this because it messed me up so much. I'm so glad I'm free now
