Pros
Working here allowed me to get my foot in the door in the animal welfare world, which has allowed me to pursue much more meaningful work since leaving the organisation.
Cons
Quite literally everything else about working here was a negative experience. If you do not care about your own mental health declining, you are happy to be part of an elitist, toxic organisation, and you're comfortable working under management who have adopted a culture of bullying, this will be your perfect role. Otherwise, save yourself and look elsewhere. On the face of it this charity looks wonderful, but it is rotten to the core and will eventually collapse under the weight of its insufferably self absorbed management. The existence of Wild at Heart Foundation appears to be more about stroking the founder's ego and boosting her profile than genuinely helping animals.
