Pros
- You can work from home or go into a physical office
- Remote opportunities. We may be based in Maryland and Pennsylvania but we have employees who live all over the country!
- There are some really great people who work here!
- The amount of PTO is good and you get an extra day added after each year with the company
- Yearly raises, bonuses available for some departments and referral bonuses for leads that turn into a new hire
- Small size of company means you aren't just a number and leadership makes themselves available for you to reach out if you have something to discuss
- There are some great benefit perks - IRA contribution matching up to a certain percentage, life insurance that BW pays 100% of, a monthly contribution towards a gym membership or other healthy program
- Opportunity for growth
- Most people are happy to help if you simply raise your hand and communicate that you need some support
Cons
- Growing pains at times, but all small companies have these.
- Some days are super busy with really tight timelines, although that is typical of pharma agency life
- Only the employee gets a percentage of healthcare paid for which can make putting a family on the company Healthcare plan very expensive
- Sometimes there are "bad apples" as I'll call them. The grumpy folks who see the negative in everything. Since it's a small company you can't avoid those folks as easily as you might at a larger company, BUT those types of people usually don't stay long anyway
- Not all managers excel at onboarding new hires, but there are plenty of great people who will answer any questions or help you out if you simply reach out to them
- Remote work can be hard as a new hire, but if you are proactive in communicating with the rest of your team you will find that it helps alleviate a lot of the struggle
