Pros

Monthly makan (to mildly cover the fact you are paid very less) Suitable for those who are good in office politics

Cons

Toxic work environment (can't even retain own HR director for years.) Poor work life balance Allowances inaccurately paid. You have to recheck. Horrible office politics

Pros

The higher up like to call you when you are on leave, like to contact you when you are sick and on sick leave. They like you to work during annual leave, sick leave and best, you don’t go home after office hours. Keep working. They always think you are very free, even though you are already drowning.

Cons

A) Toxic competition. Colleagues are pitted against each other and success is measured by who outshines whom, not by collaboration. By your Oscar acting skills. B) Decisions are made behind closed doors, you feel like you are walking on eggshells. Management like to talk behind you, and by action is another. Words and actions don’t tally. C) Poor communication. Critical updates and decisions reach you late or worse, not at all. Management tell others but not the one managing the task. D) Broken promises. Everyone heard the same promises for years, but nothing surface from leadership. E) High turnover. F) Micromanagement everywhere. Leadership don’t trust you at all. Go through every meeting, every decision, every process and insists on approving every small tasks even when you have proven to handle it. Leadership and management extremely sensitive like Hachiko.

Pros

1. Decent colleagues 2. Has potential as an organization to grow to a force locally

Cons

In response to the above: 1. Decent colleagues but mostly stuck as rank-and-files, micromanaged and unsupported, forced out, or eventually choose to leave. 2. Has potential to grow but majority of the senior management are narcissists, fickle, micromanages, authoritative, and toxic. Machiavellianism exists within the company where politics and favouritism reign supreme. Worse, there is no active sponsorship from the senior management. Empowerment does not exist. 3. Turnover for 2024 approximately 25%. 4. No AWS. No birthday leave. 5. DEI? Um no... implicitly voiced for hiring within HQ.
