Pros

Supportive teams and colleagues who are willing to train and help staff navigate the ongoing integration following the acquisition. Leadership is transparent about challenges and remains supportive during periods of change and transition.

Cons

At times, the environment can feel somewhat chaotic as integration efforts continue. Additional SOPs, training, and process standardization are still needed, particularly around data integrity, data utilization, capitation reporting, and membership tracking. There is still significant integration work ahead for both staff and providers, but hopefully processes will become more streamlined as systems are fully aligned.

Pros

I enjoy working at Astrana Health company "Foothills regional medical center". because of its friendly and supportive work culture. The organization provides excellent opportunities for employees to learn new skills and grow professionally. There are rewarding recognition programs that motivate employees and acknowledge their contributions. The CEO, Lab director are approachable, friendly, and genuinely cares about employees, which creates a positive and inspiring workplace environment.

Cons

While the company provides a positive work environment, there are opportunities to further improve internal process and communication across the teams

Pros

Great team and coworkers who are always willing to help and support one another. Friendly, collaborative work environment where it's easy to ask questions and learn from others. Good teamwork and a positive culture that makes day-to-day work more enjoyable. A good entry-level position for anyone looking to gain experience in the healthcare industry and learn the ins and outs of provider network operations.

Cons

Communication between departments could be improved. In particular, responses from the PGO team can sometimes be delayed, which makes it more difficult to complete tasks efficiently and provide timely resolutions. Compensation is somewhat lower compared to similar roles at other companies, and more competitive pay would help with employee retention and satisfaction. If you work occasional weekends for events, you're also expected to work from Monday to Friday, Sometimes you work more than 40 hours per week.
