Pros
- BH is a very tight-knit community, and while everyone knows everyone else's business, it doesn't feel competitive or snarky.
- City Hall is beautiful, clean, well run and easy to find the department you're looking for.
- Communication between different divisions is better than I've seen in most 'businesses'; there is a lot of cross-pollination of information between divisions, and the City actively works to create this kind of engagement.
- The various outreach, educational lectures, 'meet & greets', City sponsored street parties, farmers markets, and cultural events are all well planned, well run, well advertised and bring locals out to enjoy these events together.
Cons
- As one might expect with all the money, notoriety and entitlement centered in this small City, it can sometimes impact how business is done, which can be unfortunate, but most of that is invisible to the general public, which is fortunate ;)
