Becoming very corporate. You don’t have a voice. All they care about is reducing labor as much as possible, an outcome of that is so you cannot receive benefits. I worked there for 3.5 years and they lost the soul of voodoo doughnut. It made me sad to leave, but that place was sucking the soul out of me. When you put effort into a good product, all management cared about was reducing the process time so they could cut people early and reduce labor. Promoted the wrong individuals just because they were fast, not because they had good people skills. The manager they promoted when I was there was the worst I had ever experienced, it was like there was a storm cloud over everyone’s heads when that person came.
