Pros

Plentific has been a truly rewarding place to build and lead. I joined at a pivotal moment and have had the opportunity to architect and grow the Engineering team from scratch—shaping not only the technology but the culture and ways of working. That level of ownership and trust is rare and deeply motivating. The company is mission-driven with a clear focus: transforming property management for the better. This sense of purpose runs through everything we do, and it’s incredibly energising to work on products that create real-world impact for housing providers, tradespeople, and residents. From a technical perspective, we’ve embraced modern tools and practices while staying pragmatic—focusing on scalable architecture, automation, and continuous delivery. There’s strong support from leadership to innovate and experiment, particularly around AI and integrations, which keeps things fresh and exciting. What I value most is the people. I’ve been able to hire a fantastic, diverse team of smart, kind, and driven engineers who genuinely care about their craft and each other. We have a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and it shows in both our output and our day-to-day experience.

Cons

Like any fast-scaling company, there are growing pains. Prioritisation can be challenging and pace can feel intense at times. But I see this as a normal part of ambitious growth, and we’re constantly refining how we work to stay aligned and sustainable.

Pros

Good bonuses, if anyone can achieve them. Good benefits. Let me go at just the right time to get a really good job.

Cons

Upper management's lack of direction is felt in all branches. Lack of foresight led to costly choices. Employees expected to improve performance as management's choices made work more difficult Inconsistent policies and attitudes. Issues with management living by the D&I values they espouse.
