I’ve been working at seQura for almost 6 months under a trainee contract, which has now been renewed for another 6 months, and I’m genuinely very happy to continue! The company culture is deeply collaborative and respectful. The structure is truly horizontal, there’s no micromanagement, and I feel empowered to take ownership of my work. It’s an entrepreneurial environment where you’re encouraged to try things, propose ideas, and actually make them happen. My team and my manager are incredibly supportive and approachable, which makes every day enjoyable and meaningful. I also feel that the work I do has a real impact, and that sense of purpose is something I value deeply. The flexibility the company offers also makes it easy to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Overall, seQura is a place where you feel trusted, included, and appreciated, even as a trainee. I’m very happy here.

No cons for me, but it’s worth mentioning that the pace is fast and the autonomy high, so being proactive and adaptable is important.

Unfortunately, I was not able to identify many positive aspects during my time at the company. The general sentiment among colleagues was one of dissatisfaction, particularly regarding internal systems and the prevailing management culture.

I had a deeply disappointing experience working at sequra. The main issue was with the management, whose conduct often came across as unprofessional and dismissive. This contributed to a toxic and demoralizing work environment. In 2024, I was contacted by the company and, after 4–5 interviews with HR and department leads, I received a job offer. However, shortly after I started, the team structure was abruptly changed. Without any direct communication or performance feedback, I was informed that my employment was being terminated due to a lack of alignment with company values. No clear explanation or objective criteria were provided. Within just a few weeks, the reporting structure was altered, and the terms initially agreed upon were significantly changed. The situation culminated in the termination of my contract without a transparent or fair process. I also observed a similar outcome for other colleagues, who appeared to have been let go shortly after joining under comparable circumstances. This raised serious concerns about how decisions are made and how little consideration seems to be given to employees' professional well-being. While I cannot speak to the company’s internal definition of “values,” I can say that, based on my experience, respect and fairness were not reflected in the way I and others were treated. I share this experience in the hope that it brings more transparency and that no one else will have to go through a similarly unfair and distressing situation.
