Pros

Great working hours and thorough review process. Employees get to decide what 8 or 9-hour span of the day they prefer to work during, and are not required to adhere to a fixed 8am-5pm schedule. Each employee typically work on a few different projects every year. These different projects are often managed by different project leads (PLs). During the yearly performance reviews, these different PLs would convene and rate the performance of an individual. Performance reviews are carried out by multiple supervisors, and everyone is ranked based on collective inputs of the whole management team. As such, this allows John and Peter to be compared on a somewhat similar scale even though they have not been on the same team together.

Cons

Engineering and Applied science oriented, and might not be suited for people who are more focused on curiosity-driven research.
