Pros

Decent pay at this organization

Cons

Fairly toxic and unprofessional work environment. Gaslighting and trolling were normalized rather than addressed by leadership. Political division within the organization is an understatement. The culture created unnecessary stress, low morale, and high turnover, making it difficult to collaborate effectively.

Pros

I worked at DDC for over 12 years and had the opportunity to witness the company’s remarkable growth firsthand. What I valued most during my time there was the collaborative culture—employees were encouraged to learn from one another across departments, and knowledge-sharing was genuinely celebrated. The CEO fostered an environment where mentorship and professional development were part of the daily experience. There was never a fear of “working yourself out of a job” because if you supported others and contributed to the mission, there was always a place for you to grow. DDC’s mission to serve the Navajo Nation gave real purpose to the work. It felt like you were contributing to something much bigger than yourself. I stayed as long as I did because I truly believed in that mission and wanted to be part of building something meaningful for the next generation. The CEO is a visionary leader, and I credit much of my personal and professional success to his guidance and support. If you value knowledge sharing, mentorship, and being part of something greater than yourself, I would absolutely recommend DDC. -Mission-driven work that creates real community impact -Culture of collaboration, learning, and mentorship -Supportive Executive team.

Cons

-Rapid growth created some operational and communication challenges -Career advancement opportunities vary by department and role -Organizational changes require flexibility and adaptability
