Pros

Lots BIG clients, great for padding your resume.

Cons

You might be thinking that since a lot of the reviews talking about the toxic work environment is old, that it's changed. It hasn't, unfortunately, and despite the best efforts of many current and former employees to raise red flags, help change the environment, and support their peers - it never will. Truly the only way to succeed at dose is to suck up to upper management, as your growth there will depend more on how well you manage to befriend the higher ups than your actual work ethic. Beware: lack of training, constant gaslighting, putting people on the spot (such as punting entire presentations 5-10 minutes before a call to someone else despite never leading a presentation like that before) are the norm. Dose acts like it's fun and cool but there is a reason why half the team quit after the pandemic and people continue to leave after only a couple months at the company. Also, there is rampant nepotism at dose, with the CEO hiring many of his friends that aren't actually competent (and you can't really say anything because they are friends and there is NO HR - big red flag). I could go on, but in general, upper management at dose is stuck in a high school mean girl attitude and it seems that will never change.

Pros

- The best part of Dose has and always will be its employees. The majority are headstrong, creative, fun and good at what they do. - Excellent benefits package - Fun company events - Opportunity to push yourself and play in many different roles across the organization, since the company is so small - Unlimited PTO - There is finally a direction and unique offering for the company, which has helped create some stability. More people are hired into roles that they will actually perform, unlike in the past

Cons

- Upper management has always been a mess, is stifling and prioritizes an inner circle. It's created a toxic work environment for many that is detrimental to mental health. Often feels like no one can do the work better than upper management. - The company has tried to pivot to The Next Big Thing in social media like a teenager going through phases in middle school, ending in lay offs, a lack of transparency and identity crises - Employees are overworked, underpaid, and undervalued - Lots of turnover and no hesitation to fire people leads to distrust and a "what's today's drama?" mindset, covered by an excuse like "our company and social media just moves too fast"
